One of the main purposes for dog toys is to respond to the pet's need for play. Some owners have already filled their house with these playthings and yet they are tempted to buy another one. Dogs won't benefit more from having too many toys to play with.

Don't waste your money on excessive numbers of toys. A dog will play with one toy at a time and will need one for each purpose. Not to mention that your house will be full of disorder with too many toys, regardless if they are for children or pets.

The toys for chewing are especially designed to help puppies in the good development of their teeth, gums and jaws. Chewing some toys will also be of great relief from the major discomfort that afflicts puppies during their teething stage.
