postheadericon How To Guide Your Brand New Puppy Effortlessly

New pets are great when you first get them, but it's important to remember that animals need attention and love. Like they say dogs are for life not just for Christmas. Though it is not all fun and no work as it involves a lot of training and hard work yet the puppies will bring back a lot of happy memories and happy times.

Both the breed and method in which it was raised will determine the demeanor of a puppy. Bulldogs, Boxers and German Shepherds are all very protective due to their guard-dog upbringings. Border and Bearded collies are natural herding dogs with tons of energy so the are great dogs for a farm (be aware because they are reared on a farm they may be a little bit nervous around modern day technologies, such as bridges, loud noises etc) Hunting dogs such as Labradors and pointers have an infectious enthusiasm that will make you love their company. These are just general expectations; the dog's personality plays a large part as well.

Your puppy can be fully trained in a matter of weeks if you can devote enough time to it. When training your dog just a few minutes in different sessions is all that is needed. When training a new puppy, a good way to start off is to teach him some obedience commands including sit, come, fetch and run to name a few. When your puppy starts to get older, you will enjoy teaching it commands like rolling over and playing dead. A young puppy is nothing more than a blank slate, so it will be very easy to train him or her to be obedient at an early age. The things that you train to your dog will stick with him for his entire life, but because reminders will be necessary for your pet, remember to take a few minutes each day to practice commands and tricks.

When puppies are not trained then your house will constantly look like their toilet ground and furniture will display massive holes in it which are some of the ugly scenes that will confront you. Puppies are required to be taught the difference between right and wrong, like our babies, so they need some puppy dog training.

There's a huge variety of training materials out there these days, but really, as long as you are willing to put in the needed time and effort you can train your dog quite well without them. Training a puppy takes months of patient work, make sure you do a few minutes everyday to reinforce what the dog has learned and to make sure it does not forget.
