The Neapolitan Mastiff Club (UK)
CARLIN TROPHY
The Club Has Its First Tradition
The officers and committee felt that as 2002 was the first year of being an officially recognised club by the KC a commemoration trophy was in order. As this will become an historic item for the club, it was agreed that it would be a shield with the clubs name in the center and individual discs for the dogs names surrounding it. This trophy is to honour the Top Neapolitan Dog and Top Neapolitan Bitch for this year and future years by showing the names of the winning dogs on the shield and to subsequently add future honours.
So our grateful thanks go to Mr & Mrs Carlin (senior) who kindly donated the shield. It is presented each year at Crufts by David Carlin on behalf of his parents.
There are no 'club' rules attached to gaining the trophy, just the normal points system that is gained throughout the calender year and are recorded in the dog press. |
